The light in Albuquerque (indeed in all of New Mexico) is particularly compelling during sunsets. This scene is from a small area of red rock located adjacent to Interstate 25 between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico (about 40 miles from Albuquerque). The setting sun adds a warm glow to the red rock, making for a dramatic landscape.
